The Sgian Dubh is a single-edged knife worn as part of traditional Scottish Highland costume along with the kilt. Originally used for eating and preparing fruit, meat, and cutting bread and cheese--as well as protection--it is typically tucked into the top of the kilt hose. This black and silver dagger features the heraldic motif of the Scottish thistle.
Measuring over 10", this knife has a stainless steel blade and a PVC plastic handle with metal accents. It won’t measure up as a weapon of self-defense or family heirloom, but it’s a budget-friendly option for your collection or Highland dress.
