A bold pewter pendant featuring Macha, a goddess of ancient Ireland. Along with her sisters Babd and Anu, she is part of the triad of warrior goddesses known as the Morrigan. In her lap rests a cauldron, in which the souls of the dead are received to find new life.
Macha means "of the plain." She is strongly linked to the land, with several Irish heroes and place-names bearing the Goddess's name.
