The Sgian Dubh is a small, single-edged knife worn as part of traditional Scottish Highland costume along with the kilt. Originally used for eating and preparing fruit, meat, and cutting bread and cheese--as well as protection--it is typically tucked into the top of the kilt hose. This black and silver dagger features the heraldic motif of the Scottish thistle.
Measuring 6.5" (7" including the scabbard), this knife has a stainless steel blade and a PVC plastic handle with metal accents. It won’t measure up as a weapon of self-defense or family heirloom, but it’s a budget-friendly option for your collection or Highland dress.
