This sturdy little bowl is carved from a single piece of stone (Indian marble or soapstone) and finished with black lacquer. The 3-inch size is convenient for travel or smaller altars.
Got this to replace my brass bowl of sinilar dimensions to use for specific burning incense. But this bowl is so perfect for many things might purchase more innthe future. The stone is fairly thick so i imagine it will perform as expected.
