Lilith Pewter Pendant

A hard-to-find pendant of Lilith, the first wife of Adam according to Hebrew legend. The pendant comes with a black woven cord that can be tied to any length or swapped for a chain or cord of your own. 

This beautifully cast piece is based on the Babylonian tablet known as the Burney Relief, now in the British Museum. Long associated with Lilith, the carving depicts a winged, bird-footed woman. It may originally have been meant to represent Ishtar or Ereshkigal.
