White Sage and Lavender Smudge (Small)
Two delightful smudging herbs in one handy package! This smudge stick blends classic White Sage with Lavender Sage for a match made in heaven. The White Sage clears out negativity, while the Lavender brings in relaxation and blessings.
Lavender Sage gets its name from purple-grey leaves. It is related to White Sage, but not to the well-known flower Lavender.
These smudge sticks are listed as the 3” size, but they usually run large (4” or more). Thread color may vary. The smudge stick comes packaged in a bag with a paper tag.

How to Use Smudge Sticks
Holding the smudge stick by the “handle” end, use a lighter to ignite the tip. Blow out any open flames so that the leaves slowly smolder. Next, wave the smudging wand around a room, person, or objects to direct the fragrant, cleansing smoke. Catch the ashes in a heat-resistant dish. (An abalone shell is traditional, but you can use a smudge pot, incense burner, or even a regular ceramic plate, as long as you put something under it.) Smudge sticks can be extinguished in a dish of sand and re-used many times. Of course, never leave burning smudges unattended.
